For the first time in over a decade, Dave Chappelle is back in the spotlight.
With two new stand-up specials just released on Netflix, after a wait that most fans thought would never end, Dave Chappelle is finally back.
As a part of his “comeback tour,” Chappelle is making the usual media rounds, with his most poignant interview happening on CBS This Morning.
In one particular clip, Chappelle attempts to explain why he walked away from the monstrous $50 million dollar contract a decade ago. While people always thought Chappelle was nuts for turning down that money, when you hear him explain it and discuss his reasoning for walking away, it makes all the sense in the world.
