WATCH: 'SNL' Parodies Ivanka Trump, Played By Scarlett Johansson

Saturday Night Live/YouTube

We all know ‘Saturday Night Live’ loves to poke fun at The Donald. But on last night’s episode, they directed their satire towards his daughter Ivanka. She is portrayed by movie star Scarlett Johnasson in a faux perfume add, not-so-subtly entitled “Complicit.”

The skit starts out in a luxury ballroom that seems to glow as Ivanka (Scarlett) makes her entrance. The narrator says, “Every man knows her name. Every woman knows her face. When she walks into a room, all eyes are on her. She’s Ivanka.”

The narrator gets right to the shtick, “A woman like her (Ivanka) deserves a fragrance all her own. A scent made just for her. Because she’s beautiful. She’s powerful. She’s complicit…For the woman who can stop all of this but won’t.”

Scarlett Johnasson’s facial expressions are hilarious. But this skit isn’t exactly cutting edge when it comes to humor or parodies. It did make me laugh a couple times, it just didn’t have me rolling.

SNL is a bit corny with their approach on Ivanka. That Titantic joke was borderline cringe. That cheeky narrator said, “Also, I bet when she watches Titantic, she thinks she’s Rose. Sorry, girl, you’re Billy Zane.” Umm, good one?

But hats off to the man in the mirror. We thank you for your service, President Baldwin.

The subtext of this skit is pretty blatant: Donald Trump is a big meanie. Ivanka is his daughter. So, she must be bad too, right? Of course! Just look at her!

Oh, by the way, SNL, obsessed much? “She doesn’t crave the spotlight, but we see her. Oh, how we see her.” We know, SNL. Oh, we know.
