Deron Williams Chose To Be #31 For The Cavs & People Think He's Trolling The Warriors

There are four truths in life.
1). Weed is tight.
2). Beer is good.
3). Any dog under 50 pounds is a cat.
4). The Golden State Warriors blew a 3-1 lead.
As long as you know these four truths and carry them with you forever, you should be able to find your way in this mad, mad world.

Deron Williams knows this. The former all-star point guard, who recently joined the Cleveland Cavaliers after clearing waivers, chose to wear the number 31 for his new team. Coincidence?
Will some say that it’s because Williams wore 31 in high school? Of course. But those people are sheep. #StayWoke2k17. Will even Deron Williams say it’s because he wore the #31 in high school? Of course. But are athletes always 100% honest with the media? Exactly.

“Eight was taken, five was taken, which was my college number and high school number my last two years,” Williams said. “My first high school number was 31. I wanted a single number but all of them were pretty much taken, so I went with 31.”

Yeah, sure thing Deron. And you didn’t mail it in and get fat after signing a max contract with the Nets either.
