Silje Norendal is a professional snowboarder from Kongsberg, Norway. The 23-year-old specializes in the slopestyle, and she made her Olympic debut in this event in 2014. Unfortunately for Silje, she was unable to bring home a medal from Sochi, as she finished in 11th place in the slopestyle final.
Although Silje is still looking for an Olympic medal, she’s experienced a lot of success at the X Games. In 2014 and 2015, Silje won back-to-back gold medals in the X Games’ slopestyle discipline. She also has an X Games Europe gold medal, as she won the slopestyle event at the 2013 competition in Tignes.
When Silje’s not throwing down badass tricks, she’s dropping jaws with her gorgeous looks. She’s appeared in ad campaigns for Nike, and she’s graced the pages of magazines such as Cosmopolitan, Fitness Magazine, ShapeUp Norway, and Elle Norway.
At the 2017 X Games, Silje will be gunning for another medal in the slopestyle event. I’m not a snowboarding expert, but I have to think that she’s got a damn good shot at getting on the podium. As long as she doesn’t melt up all of the snow, you gotta love this stunner’s chances.
