Anna Gasser is a professional snowboarder from Villach, Austria, and she competes in slopestyle and big air events. She qualified for her first Olympics in 2014, earning a trip to Sochi to participate in the slopestyle event. Unfortunately for Anna, she didn’t return with any hardware, as she finished in 10th place.
Anna would have a lot more success in 2015, bringing home a silver medal from the World Championships. Her score of 89.50 was good enough for second place in the snowboarding slopestyle competition.
When it comes to the X Games, the 25-year-old is still looking for her first medal. In slopestyle events, she finished 5th in 2014 and 8th in 2015. At the 2017 X Games, Anna will compete in the slopestyle and big air disciplines.
