It may be the middle of January, but we already have Spring Break on the brain. These sub-zero temps in the Big Apple just aren’t doing it for us, so when Miss COED 2017 semifinalist Heidi Hoback mentioned Bali, we were all ears.
The junior at Virginia Tech has dreams of traveling to the most beautiful beaches in the world and uhhh, we’re definitely coming with. As a Wildlife Conservation major, she is passionate about the environment, and if that means jet-setting all over the world to save endangered species, we’re totally cool with that.
Get to know more about Heidi below – like how much she looks up to her mom (awwww) – and be sure to check back daily as we get to know each of our semifinalists a bit better.
If you could travel anywhere in the world for Spring Break, where would you go?
If I could go anywhere in the world for Spring Break it would probably be to Bali, Indonesia. Not only does it have some of the most beautiful beaches in the world, but my mom has always wanted to go there because of the healing/holistic practices in Indonesia.
Who do you look up to the most and why?
I most look up to my mom in life. She is a true inspiration to me. Having battled and won breast cancer twice, raised two children, been a total trophy wife, given me a colorful upbringing, and taught me all of life’s lessons. I can only hope to be half the woman she is one day.
Name one thing on your bucket list.
Something I’d love to cross off my bucket list would be to give back to my parents in a big way such as buying them a new car or getaway house!
