WATCH: ‘Blade Runner 2049’ Teaser Trailer Video

Blade Runner 2049 Trailer

A teaser trailer for Blade Runner 2049 was released today, officially marking the end of original movie franchises. Although the first movie, Blade Runner, has reached cult status over the last 20 years, it remains to be seen whether a sequel starring Ryan Gosling can match its success.

On the plus side, it’s a good thing to see Harrison Ford on the credits list of Blade Runner 2049, although a few people on forums are laughing about whether or not Blade Runner 2049 is going to reboot the franchise in the same way that Star Wars: The Force Awakens did: by literally making the same movie again.

Blade Runner 2049 Plot Synopsis

Thirty years after the events of the first film, a new blade runner, LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling), unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what’s left of society into chaos. K’s discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former LAPD blade runner who has been missing for 30 years.
