The Rock Announced He’s Running For President In 2020

Rock For President

What?!? I mean, Key from Key & Peele is literally right there, so this could be entirely a joke, but they never said so. Not to mention Dwayne Johnson, The Rock, has publicly said he would run if that’s what the people wanted. I tweeted mere minutes before the announcement that The Rock was acting presidential. If there was ever a time to make the announcement, it was at Rock The Troops.

My personal opinion: If it was a joke, wouldn’t they have said something? You know, something like ‘hey Americans who totally believe in fake news and mourned a gorilla for six months, this is a joke!’ I mean, I get that it should be obvious that it’s a joke, but it’s 2016 and Kanye literally met with the actual President-elect today, so as we know, anything is possible. Combine that with how openly The Rock has discussed running, and I think there’s at least a 50% chance that this is serious. I was watching Rock The Troops live, and Johnson literally gave a quick, heartfelt speech about the military and what not, and then said, ‘Anyway, those are just some of my policies, I have four years perfect my platform.’ I mean, just look up at that photo. He looks the damn part.

Make up your mind for yourself. Even if it is just a sketch, I’ve long been woke to the fact that The Rock is actually going to run for the presidency, and it looks like it’s gonna be 2020. I’m all in.

. @TheRock as you can see, we're pretty serious about this #RockTheTroops #TheRock2020 pic.twitter.com/y97iHrv759
