The calendar has turned to December, which is arguably the best movie month every year. From family Christmas movies to Oscar contenders, there’s something for everybody this time of year. But looking forward into 2017, there are plenty of exciting movies in the pipeline.

Here is this week’s crop of the best new trailers.

The Belko Experiment

The Belko Experiment has a simple but twisted premise: a company’s office is commanded by an ominous voice on its intercom to kill three people or see 6 people be killed. If nothing else, this horror film will surely make you appreciate those uneventful days at your office cubicle.  The Belko Experiment arrives in theaters on St. Patrick’s Day.

The Mummy

Stay tuned for the full trailer on Sunday, but this 15-second teaser for The Mummy should tide you over until then. The Mummy stars Tom Cruise in a reboot of Universal’s popular Mummy franchise. The schedule release date has already been changed a few times, but as of now you can expect to be able to see it on June 9, 2017.

Sleight

WWE Studios usually puts out straight-to-DVD garbage starring WWE Superstars, but Sleight looks like it could be a solid thriller. It was made independently and WWE Studios only purchased the distribution rights after it premiered at Sundance, so hopefully it will be a level above movies like The Marine 4 starring The Miz.

Sleight is about a street kid who uses magic to survive in a rough environment. Not the most original premise, but “Chronicle Meets Iron Man” sounds pretty cool. It comes to theaters on April 7, 2017.
