There’s A Chance That Charlie Sheen Throws Out The First Pitch Tonight And… Nope, Nevermind Jim Thome Is

Charlie Sheen First pitch

Charlie Sheen’s Twitter

Charlie Sheen has been lobbying to throw the first pitch at the World Series ever since Cleveland won the AL pennant last month. So far, it has been to no avail, as the Cleveland Indians turned down Sheen’s request. That has not stopped Sheen from making references to his Major League character, Ricky “Wild Thing” Vaughn, throughout the World Series.

Well, hold onto your butts (Samuel L. Jackson voice) because there is still hope for Sheen to appear as Wild Thing. Earlier this morning, Charlie Sheen tweeted out a picture of what appears to be Ricky Vaughn’s bag and said he his on his way to Cleveland tonight for Game 7.

Holy sh*t! Now, this could totally be a bunch of BS and it could be Sheen’s way of getting his name back into the spotlight, but I’m too excited to think he’s lying. If Sheen shows up dressed as Wild Thing and throws out the first pitch, Cleveland will go absolutely bananas. I won’t even get greedy and say he has to throw out the first pitch. Maybe Wild Thing just makes an appearance in the crowd or press box and he gets on a mic to pump the crowd up. That would totally be just as awesome.

I don’t know about you, but come 8:00 P.M., I’ll be focused on the bullpen door to see if they unleash Ricky Vaughn. I don’t believe in mortal locks, but if Wild Thing shows up tonight, goodnight Chicago. Cleveland in 7.
