Can The Broncos Right The Ship Tonight Against The Houston Texans?

The Houston Texans and the Denver Broncos wrap up Week 7 action tonight in a battle of 4-2 first place teams on Monday Night Football!

Denver, who started the year 4-0, have lost two straight, to the Falcon and Chargers, due to a slumping offense. While some might point to the injury of starting quarterback Trevor Siemian as the reason for the slumping offense, the true problem lies with the stagnant rush offense. After rushing for at least 75 yards and a touchdown in the first two games of the season, lead back C.J. Anderson has not rushed for more than 49 yards in a game since, as well as scoring only one touchdown in that span.

The Texans, while also 4-2, are seemingly better on paper than they are in reality. All of their wins have come against subpar opponents such as the Bears, Chiefs, Titans, and Colts, while their losses have been blowouts to quality opponents such as the Minnesota Vikings and the New England Patriots.

The story of the night will be how well Houston quarterback Brock Osweiler performs. After signing a four-year, $72 million deal with the Texans in the offseason, Osweiler has not looked the part of a franchise quarterback thus far. Osweiler has yet to throw for over 300 yards this season, while also throwing an interception in every game thus far. Things don’t get any easier for him tonight, as the Broncos sport one of the best defenses in the league. Look for the Broncos to right the ship tonight against Houston in a tight game. COED likes the Bronco’s tonight, 20-17.

Despite the problems both teams face, tonight’s game is still a battle of first place teams and should be one of the best games of the weekend, so make sure you find out how to live stream it below!
