Did You Hear About NBA’s Paul Millsap’s Car Crash? Listen To The 911 Audio Of The Wreck Right Here

The Atlanta Hawks’ Paul Millsap appears to have been involved in a mishap on the road. On Monday evening, around 6:30 P.M., Millsap’s Rolls Royce collided with a motorcycle. While the basketball player made it out of the wreck uninjured, the motorcyclist reportedly had serious injuries and had to be taken to a nearby hospital.

TMZ Sports broke the story Tuesday morning, and on Thursday morning released the 911 audio, reporting the accident. “Oh my gosh, there’s fire. It just happened. There’s somebody lying on the ground,” said a woman’s voice to the 911 operator. “I heard a crash… and I saw something fly out. I thought it was a piece of a vehicle. It was a person. And the person landed on the sidewalk.”

As you can hear from this audio, the motorcyclist was injured, lying on the ground, being attended to by someone with scrubs, most likely a medical professional. Meanwhile, the motorcycle was up in flames.  The woman says, “Oh my gosh, there’s a fire.” Then later says, “It might have been a motorcycle and it’s on fire.”

At the scene of the accident, officials say that the motorcycle was indeed on fire and the Atlanta Fire Department finally put out the flames.

A police report obtained by Chris Vivlamore of AJC.com reveals that Millsap is not at fault for the accident. Meanwhile, the injured biker is reportedly to blame for the incident as he failed to maintain his lane.
