New Movie Trailers: ‘Power Rangers’ ‘Resident Evil: The Final Chapter’, & More

Winter is coming and that means trailers for incredible movies are now dropping every week. And while 2016 New York Comic Con this week didn’t  bombard us with trailers like its San Diego counterpart did, the trailer for the final flick in the long-running Resident Evil franchise was released there. Take a look at this week’s intriguing mix of sneak peaks.

Get Out

Get Out is a boundary-pushing psychological horror flick directed and written by Jordan Peele of Key and Peele fame. While it’s far from Peele’s typical sketch comedy niche, this goosebump-inducing trailer has movie lovers buzzing. You’ll be able to see it in theaters on February 24th, 2017.

Patriots Day

Right on the heels of the success of Deepwater Horizon, Mark Wahlberg and director Peter Berg collaborate again for Patriots Day. And like Deepwater Horizon and the Berg-directed Lone Survivor, Wahlberg will once again play the hero amidst a real-life tragedy. Though it feels perhaps a bit too soon for the Boston Marathon bombing of 2013 to be dramatized, Patriots Day comes out December 21st.

Power Rangers

Bryan Cranston is one of the stars in this gritty adaptation of the classic children’s series, but he’s nowhere to be seen in this trailer. When the man who played Heisenberg said the movie would be like The Dark Knight, many people rolled their eyes, but after seeing this badass trailer we now know what he meant. Power Rangers has a $150 million budget and looks like a potential blockbuster. It hits theaters on March 24th, 2017.

Resident Evil: The Final Chapter

My childhood was haunted by the original Resident Evil video game, but Resident Evil has gone on to become the most successful movie franchise based on a video game of all time. And fans of the previous Resident Evil movies will be excited to see this trailer for the much-anticipated conclusion. You can see how it ends for Alice on January 27, 2017 in 2D, 3D and IMAX 3D.
