Broncos vs. Bengals: What Time, TV Channel & Preview

The NFL schedule makers have given AFC fans a treat with this Week 3 battle between the Denver Broncos and the Cincinnati Bengals. Both teams have huge expectations to get to Super Bowl LI especially after the Broncos won last year’s big game. It’s a different season with a new quarterback in Denver and a healthy quarterback in Cincinnati. This is a big game for seeding purposes around playoff time. Here is a look at the matchup.

The Broncos beat the Indianapolis Colts 34-20 last week and now go on the road for the first time this season. Trevor Siemian has thrown for 444 yards and one touchdown but has three interceptions and is still learning on the job. C.J. Anderson has been a solid option on the ground with 166 rushing yards and two touchdowns. Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders have clearly been the two people that Siemian wants to throw to with Thomas having 138 yards receiving on the year. The defense looks like its championship self again and now gets the challenge of slowing down Andy Dalton.

The Bengals lost 24-16 to the Pittsburgh Steelers and go home for the first time this season. Dalton has been throwing the ball a ton so far this year with 732 passing yards and two touchdowns. A.J. Green has 14 catches for 218 yards and a touchdown while the run game has stalled. Jeremy Hill leads the team with 53 yards on the ground and a touchdown. If the Bengals are going to be a serious threat this season, they need Hill to run better. If there is a way where the defense must come up big, it is this week against Siemian in his first road start. Cincinnati would love to get a win here and have that tiebreaker.
