Ravens vs. Browns: Date, Kickoff Time, TV Channel & Preview

When the Baltimore Ravens and Cleveland Browns get together, it is always a battle between the old Cleveland team now in Baltimore and the new team currently in Cleveland. This Week 2 of AFC North rivals has a Baltimore team that won in Week 1 facing a reeling Cleveland team that lost their opening game. The two teams look like they are going in completely different directions already this early in the season. Here is a look at the matchup.

The Ravens won a hard-fought 13-7 game against the Buffalo Bills. Joe Flacco looked good with 258 passing yards and the lone touchdown that Baltimore would score on a pass to Mike Wallace. The problem that the Ravens are going to have is that their rushing game is in bad shape. Justin Forsett and Terrance West were in a committee in Week 1 and while Forsett did average over four yards a carry, he wasn’t impressive. The defense looks like its old self though and that could be the key to the whole season for Baltimore especially with a chance for a shutout in this game.

The Browns lost 29-10 to the Philadelphia Eagles on the road and lost Robert Griffin III for most of the season in the loss with a shoulder injury. It will be Josh McCown who has the chance to run with the quarterback job but has struggled to win games over the last two seasons. Isaiah Crowell played well in the run game with a touchdown and 62 yards on the ground. The defense has a ton of work to do to improve over their Week 1 performance. This has the potential to be a season that gets out of hand very quickly for fans in Cleveland.
