Samir Ait Said is a French gymnast who during the Olympics, while landing a ridiculous flipping maneuver, had his leg snap and contort in a horrifying way. It is an injury of the same ilk as the famously dreadful injuries of Shaun Livingston and Joe Theismann.
Getty had other pictures that showed the injury from a better angle, but those were just too graphic to put on Coed.com. If you’re thinking I’m overselling the injury, watch the video for yourself. But don’t say I didn’t adequately warn you.
