Ellen Hoog is a 30-year-old Dutch Olympic field hockey player. The Overveen, Netherlands native is one of the most decorated field hockey players in the world, as her trophy case is stocked to the brim with medals. The midfielder has won three European Championships (2005, 2009, and 2011), two World Championships (2006 and 2014), and two Olympic gold medals (2008 and 2012).
At the 2012 Olympics, Ellen made history with a clutch penalty shootout performance. In the semi-final against New Zealand, Ellen’s winning shot made her the first player to decide a major championship match in a penalty shootout. Talk about having ice water in your veins.
Ellen and the rest of her Netherlands squad are massive favorites to pull off a three-peat in 2016. They are -110 to win gold in Rio, and Ellen is such a babe that I’m considering pulling a Benedict Arnold and throwing a few bucks on the Dutch. Try your best to enjoy 22 of her hottest photos without committing financial treason.
