August looks to be an exciting month in PC gaming, with a little something for everyone. Golf fans will be able to hit the links in Golf Masters, which is optimized for virtual reality add-ons. Longtime players of the genre-defining MMORPG World of Warcraft get the most exiting expansion in years in the form of Legion, and two long-awaited sci-fi epics — the stealth-action hybrid Deus Ex: Mankind Divided and space-exploring No Man’s Sky — finally drop after years of anticipation.

5. Golf Masters

Virtual reality seems to be the ideal place for a golf sim, and Ghost Machine aims to fill that void by carting you on to the virtual links to add a sense of immersion not touched since the wonky Wii Sports take on the game. You can play on either Oculus Rift or the HTC Vive, or hook up an Xbox One controller and play the traditional way.

4. World of Warcraft: Legion
