WATCH: Who Doesn’t Love A Baseball Brawl?

I wouldn’t normally post highlights of a baseball game on this site because baseball is the sports-equivalent of the painfully boring VP candidate Tim Kaine. With that being said, I will always post a baseball fight video. Because who doesn’t love a good ol’ baseball brawl?

In Sunday’s game between the Frisco Roughriders and the Corpus Christi Hooks- the Texas Rangers and Houston Astros double A farm teams, respectively- we got a good one. In the second inning after Hooks designated Danry Vasquez got beaned, he rushed the mound and a lively brawl ensued between the two teams.

It’s unclear what set Vasquez off, as it seems the pegging was unintentional.

I remember at my first minor league game when I was 11 years old mercilessly heckling the players about how they sucked and would never make it to the majors. This memory fills me with regret now, but the point is being a minor league baseball player is a miserable existence. There’s a reason Kenny Powers was trying to get back to the majors. So I think it’s safe to say Vasquez was pissed off about playing in a near-empty ballpark and was looking to kick some ass.
