Winning the Indy 500 is probably one of the more exhausting experiences as far as athletic achievements go, but as 2016 Indy 500 Champion Alexander Rossi found out first-hand, there’s still no rest once you cross the finish line. We caught up with Alexander the night after the Indy 500 at an exclusive champagne toast here in New York City and he looked absolutely depleted. Having said that, we’re guessing Alex would welcome losing a week’s worth of sleep to guarantee another victory at the Indy 500.
We asked Alexander about whether or not he had any “oh sh*t moments” during the race, how he likes to prepare for the races, and the big difference between him and racer Conor Daly.
