There were very high expectations on the Duke Blue Devils last season and while the team did finish 8-5 with a bowl game victory, it wasn’t as good as some people would have liked. The 2016 season approaches with a very solid team still on the roster including starting quarterback Thomas Sirk who will need to become a senior leader to insure that Duke improves on last season’s record and can get back to the ACC title game. While there is room for improvement, the conference itself will be very difficult all year long. This is where Sirk has to become the running and passing machine that everyone knows he can be.
