He was found unconscious and bleeding when police officers arrived at 311 SW 13th St. shortly after 2 AM, Officer Ben Tobias told the Gainesville Sun. Chance was declared dead half an hour later at UF Health Shands Hospital.

Security footage at Social 28, where Chance fell, captured the 20-year-old leaving an elevator, walking down a hallway, and apparently falling over a waist-high glass partition.

Friends and family alike are mourning the death of Chance, who everyone agrees was a fun and caring person.
