WATCH: Cincinnati Vs. Steelers — Vontaze Burfict Foul Is A Real NFL Low Point [GIF]

Vontaze Burfict penalty Steelers

Cincinnati Bengals went up against the Pittsburg Steelers in the playoffs last night, and Cincinnati pretty much had the game won. The team had possession of the ball and less than two minutes in the game. Then they fumbled the ball, and followed that up with two uniquely stupid personal fouls that set the Steelers up to win 18-16 with a field goal.

Nobody feels bad for the Bengals, either. That’s mostly thanks to Vontaze Burfict keeping up his reputation as the dirtiest player in the NFL by slamming into Antonio Brown in a move that would lead to criminal charges if the NFL execs had any sense of pride in the game. Creeps like Burfict are the real reason that high-school kids are getting concussions on the field. The NFL encourages that mindset in young players.

On the positive side, Burfict created the penalty that brought the Steelers close enough to get that easy field goal. Even lots of disgusted Bengals fans were cheering on Pittsburgh at that point. It was inspirational. We’ll even toss in the cliché that losers never win, and Vontaze Burfict is a true loser. A loser who’s worth millions of dollars, but you get what we’re saying…
