Ariana Grande showed up with Coldplay at the big Global Citizen festival in Central Park today–which made for a nice moment, since we still remember when Ariana Grande first busted out big as a great vocalist and not just a gal who looked hot in go-go boots. We still appreciate the go-go boots, though.
Anyway, Chris Martin seems to be a sincere fan, since he let Ariana really show off her voice for her guest spot. It’s sure a nicer way to enjoy Ariana than when she showed up licking doughnuts. We wouldn’t want to be part of a globe that would have us a citizen, but this was a smart PR move that sounds good, too…
