Primetime Emmys 2015: Date, Start Time, & TV Channel Guide

The Primetime Emmy Awards show is all set to kick off this weekend as the Television Academy picks their winners for the best “primetime” television shows, actors, and TV creators of the year.

According to the official website: “The Emmy Awards recognize excellence within various areas of television and emerging media. The Emmy Award is a symbol of peer recognition from more than 18,500 voting members of the Television Academy.”

The 2015 Primetime Emmys are being hosted by comedian Andy Samberg, who’s both the star of FOX’s Brooklyn Nine-Nine and an absolute genius. He’s also won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics for Lonely Island’s “D*ck In A Box.”

The Primetime Emmys air live at 8 PM EST/5 PM PST and immediately follow the Creative Arts Emmys.
