It always seems like mechanics are trying to rob you, overcharging you for easy stuff like oil changes, unnecessary flushes, and labor. Everyone knows it’s a scam, but few people can do something about it.
Not rednecks, though. They see this racket for exactly what it is and just make the fixes themselves.
Sure, they might not have all the tools a professional shop might have but they do have years of experience tinkering with broken cars in the yard and access to a scrapyard full of useful junk. Rednecks also have a lot of time.
