Mayweather Finally Picks a Fight He’ll Lose, Calls Out Ronda Rousey

Move over Drake and Meek Mill, there’s a new, far more badass beef in town.

Floyd Mayweather and Ronda Rousey are two of the toughest people on the planet, and that isn’t hyperbolic – it’s actual fact. Mayweather is considered to be the greatest boxer on the planet, if not of all time, while Rousey has taken the world by storm over the last couple of years, arm-barring her way to being the top ranked woman fighter in the world. Naturally, given Mayweather’s history and Rousey’s general take-no-sh*t attitude, these two were bound to butt heads eventually.

At last month’s ESPY’s on ESPN, while accepting the award for Best Fighter, Rousey announced her upset with Mayweather after saying he didn’t know who she was. Rousey appropriately used her acceptance as an opportunity to fire back.

“I wonder how Floyd feels being beat by a woman for once,” Rousey said. “I’d like to see him pretend to not know who I am now. I know for damn sure that he knew who I was, because he was running against me for Best Fighter that year and he has signed MMA fighters.”

Mayweather’s response, unsurprisingly, lacked any sort of intelligence or fortitude, and he predictably reverted back to talking about how much money he makes. Exciting!

“I’ve yet to see any MMA fighter, or other boxer, make over $300 million in 36 minutes,” Mayweather said. “When she can do that, then call me.”

I’ll tell you what, I would pay some serious money to see these two go at it. If one thing is certain, it will certainly be more entertaining than his soft as baby sh*t hugfest against Manny Pacquiao. I still haven’t gotten over how god awful that was. Not only that, but I’d also put my entire paycheck on Rousey, every damn time.
