WATCH: David Letterman Came Out of Retirement Just to Mock Donald Trump

||

David Letterman
David Letterman has been in retirement for just two months now, and he’s already tired of it. When a man is used to making fun of world news on a nightly basis, it’s hard to stay away from. Especially after Donald Trump announces his candidacy for president.

The famous late night host showed up in San Antonio this weekend to crash a comedy show hosted by friends Martin Short and Steve Martin. Considering the world of politics keeps shelling out comedy gold, Letterman explained his retirement regret to enthused audience members:  “And then a couple of days ago, Donald Trump said he was running for president. I have made the biggest mistake of my life, ladies and gentlemen.”

We kind of agree.

Check out the the hilarious clip in its entirety below.
