Is England’s poop-powered bus the fastest vehicle in the country? We’d like to think so.
Running strictly on cow manure, “Bus Bound” is typically found in the English town of Reading, picking up civilians and dropping them off at select locales. But this weekend it shed its routine and took up speed, clocking a 76.785 miles per hour record while doing a lap around a nearby track.
According to Huffington Post,
However, the numbers don’t seem to add up. It’s unclear whether the speed of the Bus Hound — named after the British Bloodhound supersonic car — is actually a record. A February police chase involving a school bus in Cedar Rapids, Iowa reached speeds up to 100 mph, according to The Gazette. Guinness World Records officials have stated the Bus Hound’s speed cannot be marked as a world record unless it exceeds 150 miles per hour.
Whether or not a record was set is no issue with us – all we really care about is that this sucker is running on pure sh*t. Finally something good coming out of those rank coach bus bathrooms.
