In every college students life there is a time when they can pretty much forget about taking those tough college cores and instead focus on what’s really important: partying in a new country and traveling the world. This time is the coveted semester abroad. Whether you’re going to Europe, Asia, or Australia you can use this semester to find that hot foreign chick you’ve been dying to meet or try that German beer you’ve read about. Take advantage and come while you’re young because the scene here is hip and trendy so you’ll want to take it all in.
Clubs/Bars
Partying in Prague is unlike any other city in the world. This city is the mecca for those jazzy, cool pubs and speakeasies you’ve always wanted to chill at. It’s definitely a beer capital of the world so you can find the sickest breweries at every corner.
There’s no doubt that the first thing you have to do in Prague is stop by a local brewery and get sloshed off of their famous beers. At The Pub (pictured above) every table has its own beer tap so you wont have to wait a second! The coolest part about this place is that each table can race another in drinking the most beer at a time. And guess what? The winning table gets all that beer for free! Start chugging.
If you’re looking for more of a club scene, Karlovy Lazne is the spot. This 5-story club has a different theme on each floor so you can hop around to change it up. The bottom floor of this place is probably the sickest one: an ice bar! Put on those trendy silver puffers that they have because you’ll be chillin’ here all night. Literally.
Want to take a hot date to dinner but still party with her? You can do that here too. Radost is a spot with a delicious restaurant upstairs and a wild club downstairs. The place is covered in gold wallpaper and the vibe is crazy. There’s a DJ playing the best hip-hop all night so the energy here is non-stop partying!
One of the most famous clubs in Prague is Lucerna. This is the place you go to if you’re ready to rage and dance all night. It’s always crowded and the center stage has the best DJs on the weekends and the coolest local bands during the week. Stop by on Friday nights if you want to join in on the “80s night” fun!
Restaurants
From fried cheese and potatoes to boiled dumplings, Czech food is amazing. Every meal here is accompanied by a local beer so you can get your day-drink on early!

Czech Beer Festival is not a week long, not 2 weeks long, but 17 days of non-stop binge drinking! Come thirsty. The festival offers 70 different brands of Czech beer so why not try all of them? There’s over 100 waitresses dressed in Czech-style beer girl outfits so get your A game on for these babes.
Over 10,000 people attend every day! Live bands play at the rowdy festival and the food is catered by some of the best restaurants in Prague. It takes place every year from May 15th be prepared to leave there pretty dented.
