Anna Kendrick Turns A Pitch Perfect 29 Years Old [PHOTOS]

Once a darling of the indie scene–and now a worldwide superstar with hit movies and hit singles to her name–Anna Kendrick combines the wholesome good looks of the girl next door, with the raging sex appeal of your buddy’s little sister who’s all grown up and looking super hot. It’s hard to believe that she’s only 29 today, because it’s even harder to believe that she’s achieved so much success in so little time.

Anna was a relative unknown when she was cast in the overlooked and underrated 2007 indie comedy Rocket Science, but the following year she hit the big time thanks to a role in the mind bogglingly popular Twilight Saga. Since then, she’s earned an Oscar nomination for 2009’s Up in the Air, stolen the show in the 2010 instant cult classic Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, and made a cappella cool again thanks to her role in Pitch Perfect. She’s nicely balancing her time between big budget studio films like the upcoming Into the Woods and work with indie darlings like Joe Swanberg (Drinking Buddies) and Jonathan Levine (50/50).

She also manages to be sexy as hell–often by doing nothing at all and just letting her natural ebullience and beauty do the talking for her. Even we have to admit we couldn’t stop singing “Cups” last summer, and it takes a special kind of talent to bring out that side of us. So celebrate Anna’s career today however you see fit. Just make sure to thank the heavens above for sending her our way….
