Tiffany Shepis in “Sharknado 2: The Second One” [SEE HER TONIGHT]

See Her Tonight

Tiffany Shepis in Sharknado 2: The Second One

(9:00 PM EST, Syfy)

We can’t pretend that the See Her Tonight column is too excited over a Sharknado franchise taking off for the Syfy Channel. We’ve been more excited over the ladies of Lost Girl (like Anna Silk, Zoie Palmer, Emmanuelle VaugierMia Kirshner and Ali Liebert) and Continuum (like Lexa Doig, Aliyah O’Brien, and Magda Apanowi). Also, there are lots of Syfy Original Movies that deserve more love than the first Sharknado. We’re not too impressed with the jokey celebrities joining in Sharknado 2: The Second One, either–but we’re still tuning in because the movie is smart enough to also bring in the amazing Tiffany Shepis, who sure deserves a big break as one of the great low-budget Scream Queens. Tiffany Shepis has spent a long career bringing great performances to both sleeper horror films and some dopey schlock movies. She’s always consistently great, though. Tiffany is also consistently sexy, even as she’s gone from a curvy cutie to a totally built babe over the years. We’re talking about a filmography that goes from 1996’s Tromeo and Juliet (written by Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn) to The Pick-Axe Murders, Part III as one of her 11 movies that she’s made so far this year.

In between, there are epics like Doctor Spine, Corpses, Bonnie & Clyde vs. Dracula, Citizen Toxie: The Toxic Avenger IV, and Zombies! Zombies! Zombies! Every one of those has been made better by Tiffany’s amazing presence. We’re not sure what she can do for Sharknado 2, but Tiffany looks to have a lot more than a mere cameo. We’re hoping this will be her Quentin Tarantino moment. At the very least, this makes up for Sharknado 2 not having Corin Nemec. Now check out even more reasons to tune in on Tiffany tonight…
