Man Has Surgery To Look More Asian-And More Morning Links

A Brazilian man named Xiahn Nishi, who used to go by “Max,” decided to undergo ten surgeries in order to appear more Asian. According to our friends over at The Huffington Post, Nishi doesn’t think of himself as Asian or as Korean, a nationality that he greatly admires after visiting the country, but as “something in between.” He told the Sydney Morning Herald, “I think I look handsomer like this,” but it’s hard to say how long his satisfaction will last.
