Low-Budget Music Video Swipes “Star Wars” Special Effects [VIDEO]

He was the winner of Ryan Seacrest’s cover contest for Drake’s “(Hold on) We’re Going Home,” and now David Unger is at it again–this time with a Star Wars parody music video of  his song “Come Away.”

In the video, David, stuck in traffic, imagines himself as Luke Skywalker in the Battle of Endor from Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi. For you non-nerds, this is the epic space battle that  [SPOILER ALERT] ends in the explosion of Death Star (the big Moonish-looking thingy out in space).

Proceeds for “Come Away” by David Unger Music [DUM] will be donated to Star Wars “Force for Change” charity–which is a smart move, since this might keep David from getting sued into oblivion for making a cheap music video with a million-dollar budget. And the music isn’t bad, either….
