Mets Eat 103 Philly Cheesesteaks In One Day-And More Morning Links

The New York Mets are 28-29 this season, which isn’t great. However, there is one thing they’re winning: cheesesteaks. According to our friends over at Extra Mustard, when the Mets sat through a rain delay in Philadelphia on April 30 they ended up eating a total of 103 cheesesteaks, which set a single-day team record. When playing in Philadelphia, visiting teams have access to all-you-can-eat cheesesteaks at the ballpark and there is a scoreboard in the clubhouse that tracks single-day and three-day records for how many are eaten.
