White Sox Fan Catches Bat, Saves Baby [VIDEO]

We know that 50 Cent was the least valuable player in major-league baseball last night. Now meet Eileen Depesa, who was a real MVP this weekend after catching a bat that flew out of Tyler Flowers’ hands during the Chicago White Sox’s game against the Cleveland Indians. Lesser fans ducked and cowered, but Eileen deftly raised a single hand and caught the flying piece of (potentially) lethal lumber.
Was it really heading for a baby’s fragile, head? Well, yeah. There was a good chance that could’ve happened, so don’t act like we’re hyping this up, either. Take a look for yourself, and hope that Eileen is around the next time that we’re ducking down in the stands…
