Jennifer Lawrence Marks Katniss’ Birthday By Going Topless [53 PHOTOS]

If you’re the kind of fake Jennifer Lawrence fan who doesn’t actually read The Hunger Games books, then you might not know that May 8th is the actual birthday of Katniss Everdeen in the year 58 ADD–but it’s still cool with us if you want to check out how Marie Claire magazine is celebrating with sexy new pics of Jennifer Lawrence. There’s also an interview with Jennifer Lawrence, although it was probably conducted before FHM honored her as the Sexiest Woman in the World.

That’s too bad, because maybe then Jennifer would’ve realized she has a pretty good dating pool to choose from, and she wouldn’t spend so much of the Marie Claire interview rambling on about this Nicholas Hoult guy who seems to keep taking up all of her time.

The only good thing about that is how Jennifer remains as reliably geeky as ever. Check out how the famously clumsy Jennifer manages to stumble over trying to convince us that this alleged boyfriend of her is something special: “Looks can go pretty far. Nobody can deny a beautiful face. Fortunately, I have one–Oh, no! I mean my boyfriend! I didn’t mean my face! Oh, my God! I meant I’m with somebody who has a beautiful face.”

The good news is that Jennifer Lawrence also says that humor and intelligence are very important when it comes to having a boyfriend, and we know a lot of dirty jokes. Also, we like Jennifer’s sense of humor–particularly when it comes to her boyfriend’s Twitter account: “I sometimes come up with things that I think he needs to tweet, like ‘Let the panda bears die’–you know, just to f**k with people–and he’s just like, ‘No.'”

We’d just like to say that Jennifer can have the keys to the COED Twitter account anytime. We don’t like pandas, anyway. We do, however, keep finding Jennifer to be as adorable as ever, and this is really the best Katniss Everdeen birthday that we’ve ever celebrated. And now here’s 50 fantastic photos for you to celebrate with, including a few that might be too hot for a respectable publication like Marie Claire
