There’s a lot of pressure for the youth of America…but nothing compared to what goes on in India.
Just take a look at this recent advertisement for “Jetking,” which reads “I made my parents proud. I became an engineer from Jetking.” Jeeze, they’re really playing up the whole “don’t disappoint your parents or else” aspect here. The most stress our collegiate youth has experienced as of late is actually not that stressful at all. Yesterday, it was announced that the SAT exam would be switching back to the old 1600 point format. Yes, the SAT exam is getting rid of the “tricky vocabulary section” and also making the once mandatory essay section…optional.
