Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Models: Breast of the Red Carpet [PHOTOS]

The 2014 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue has hit the streets, which means that our jaws have hit the floor as the models hit the promotional circuit. The gals are also hitting the party circuit, as Sports Illustrated hosts plenty of big events to celebrate the biggest names in modeling–who’ve all just become even bigger courtesy of appearing in a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. This year is the 50th anniversary issue, too, so Sports Illustrated is hosting a really amazing selection of legendary models from the past and the present.

The models are responding by looking really hot for the red carpet–and we’ve gathered together our favorite gals in their hottest outfits. That includes the likes of Daniela Pestova, Petra Nemcova, and Bregje Heinen. Then there are gals like Iman Chanel who get to augment their awesome outfits by posing with their sexiest pics from the new Sports Illustrated issue.

Of course, you get Nina Agdal, Chrissy Teigen, and Lily Aldridge back posing together as the Holy Trinity of this year’s Swimsuit Issue–and we’re adding a shot of Chrissy Teigen holding some Captain Morgan rum, as a tribute to what it would take for us to ever get up the nerve to talk to her.

Speaking of corporate sponsors–you’ll notice that we’ll have models standing in backdrops for both the Sports Illustrated 50 Years of Swim party, and a few are from the Sports Illustrated event that was a tie-in to Mattel’s Barbie brand. You’ll understand why we mixed it up when you see how great Christie Brinkley is looking at the age of 60(!), and how fetching Irina Shayk is as a Barbie fan.

Although we’ve added in a stunning Instagram photo of Irina, ourtesy of Swimsuit Editor mastermind M.J. Day’s Instagram account. You’ll want to follow the celebrations there, too, but first get riveted by these red carpet pics…
