December 24, 2013: 19 Pics As Daphne Groeneveld Turns 19 [PHOTOS]

Daphne Groeneveld turned 18 years old on December 24, 2013. That means we’re now marking a solid year of being able to enjoy Daphne Groeneveld’s fine body of work. That was pretty much the high point of 2013 for a few COED staffers. Do not mock us them, either. Daphne’s the kind of important talent who deserves the right kind of attention–and she certainly took advantage of 2013 to work on her already amazing career.

The dazzling Dutch model made a very splashy debut back in 2010, when she appeared on the cover of Vogue Paris with designer Tom Ford. That’s when a lot of people became aware of the age of this new gal from the Netherlands. Daphne became a regular presence on the cover of different international editions in the Vogue empire, while posing for brands like Calvin Klien, Dior, Louis Vuitton, and Givenchy–which must’ve been pretty dazzling, considering that Daphne started out as an ordinary schoolgirl discovered in a shopping mall.

Daphne also kept impressive company on the catwalk. She strolled out to the spotlight for designers and brands including Marc Jacobs, Versace, Karl Lagerfeld, Donna Karan, and Prada. So, of course it’s natural to assume that Daphne Groeneveld has spent the past few years turning into a sheltered diva without a thought in her head.

But you would be wrong, and we’re not even saying that based on the imaginary conversations that we’ve had with the gal. We’ve been told by fashion pros that Daphne is always a hard-working and modest gal who really believes that she’s just part of a creative team. Which is very close to how Daphne acts during our imaginary conversations, so that bodes well for our imaginary relationship. Now enjoy these very real 19 pics from Daphne’s busy past year, and know that more are on the way…
