Honor Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day With These Sailor Girls [PHOTOS]

On December 7, 1941, the Imperial Japanese Navy attacked the United States Navy base at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. The attack was meant to keep the American Navy from interfering with Japan’s plans to attack Allied territories in Southeast Asia. The attack took America completely by surprise and caused America to declare war on Japan a day later and enter into World War II.

Although this is not a holiday where government offices are required to shut down, Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day is honored with several memorial ceremonies. If you don’t have a chance to get to one, it’s customary to fly the flag at half-staff. If you don’t have a flag pole, then you can always just enjoy this gallery of sailor babes.
