Saturday Cocktail: Spicing Up the Weekend with Wild Turkey

A couple weeks ago, we traveled to The Island of Kentucky (aka Surf Bar in Williamsburg, Brooklyn) where a new kind of bourbon was unveiled to our tastebuds. Island-inspired but true to its Kentucky heritage, Wild Turkey Spiced is a unique spirit.

Four- and six-year-old whiskey is spiked with spice so it mixes like a spiced rum but retains its bold bourbon character. With notes of vanilla, caramel and clove, Wild Turkey Spiced is perfect on its own or mixed with your favorite cola. Lobsters wearing suspenders and handlebar mustaches, jockeys riding sharks instead of horses, bluegrass bands on the beach – these are the images conjured when sipping this lively, delicious spirit.

So because we love you and Wild Turkey Spiced, we have not one but two cocktail recipes for you to make this weekend. Check them out below and imagine yourself on a beach surrounded by BBQ when you take a sip.
