Henry Fong Is An American DJ To Watch For

A friend of mine just passed me an official preview to the track of “Hot Steppa,” a song that’s been rocking a lot of DJ sets lately, so I thought now might be a good time to let you guys know about Henry Fong aka the 2010 UCF graduate who’s partly responsible for this banger.

But before we begin, cue my motherf*cking horns.

It might stem from the fact that I’m a sucker for Cam’ron who uses horns on nearly every beat he rapped over, but I’ll be damn*d if a brass section doesn’t make every song better. Along with Mike Hawkins and Toby Green, Henry created this track “Hot Steppa” which has been used by everyone from Laidback Luke to Steve Aoki┬áin their sets.

“Hot Steppa” isn’t Henry’s first time getting on the horse, though. He’s been repping the Orlando EDM scene since he first got in with the Riot! parties that were rocking down there a few years ago. You might have even seen him on Hype Machine with some of his remixes.

What’s important though is that you should start looking out for the dreaded American DJ ASAP. He’ll be supporting Dada Life at their Dada Life Compound shows in Philly (10/24) and Chicago (10/26), so you’ll have two great opportunities to see him.

Gotta love an American DJ (and a frat brother too) who can spin and produce with the best of them.
