Reasons Why This Week Won’t Suck [10/14 – 10/17]

Whether you’re at work right now or celebrating the fact you have a BS holiday like Columbus Day off, one thing is for certain: this week could be a whole lot worse. How? You could have nothing fun to do. But instead, there are a ton of cool things happening this week.

It’s a huge week for music in New York with both the CMJ and HONK NYC! music festivals happening. If you’re in the mood for a throwback, Nine Inch Nails plays the Barclays Center in Brooklyn tonight, and Savages are taking over Terminal 5 this Wednesday. The Avett Brothers are dropping a new album tomorrow, produced by Rick Rubin, which is not to be missed. You can now see the hotties of Weird Science in high definition on Blu-Ray. And both the 1995 and 2013 versions of Embrace of the Vampire have editions coming out, so get in the Halloween spirit and make sure not to miss them. Check out all of these happenings and more in the gallery below.
