There’s Now A Grateful Dead Beer That Features Granola

And it’s brought to you by Dogfish Head, the same good people who offer the brew made from meteorites.

The Delaware based brewery is using Oregon-based granola brand Grizzlies in the “American Beauty” beer, which will be available on draft and in bottles across 27 states. Sounds absolutely delicious. Possibly the perfect beer for a complete and balanced breakfast. Instead of adding granola to your yogurt, just have a couple of Dogfish Head’s finest to get ready for the day.

American Beauty is of course probably the Grateful Dead’s most revered album released in 1970. We have a feeling Jerry Garcia is already lighting one up and tipping a few back wherever he is right now while possibly jamming out with Jimi Hendrix and/or Elvis.
