Ex-Texas Tech Running Back May Have Committed the Weirdest Crime of Any College Player

We didn’t think crimes committed by college athletes could get dumber than most or any of the ones committed by pro-athletes because they are under the iron thumb of the NCAA and more fun-killing bills than those under Sharia law.

That’s what makes this former player such a pioneer because he found a way around them to commit one of the dumbest crimes an athlete of any status can commit.

Ronnie Daniels used to be one of the most promising names to join the Texas Tech football program, but he lost his spot on the team and subsequently his college career for breaking too many team rules. But he got back in the spotlight when a woman in Albuquerque, NM caught him taking a bath in her home, according to Bleacher Report.

When the woman confronted Daniels and told him to get out of her house, Daniels not only insisted he was in his house but he was also married to the woman and they had several children together. Police arrested Daniels and charged him with burglary. They haven’t filed any drug or alcohol charges yet probably because they know either one or both are requirements for staying sane while living in Albuquerque.
