Tommy Cooper is one of my favorite comedians…of all time! The man literally died on stage – on live TV. The perfect way for a comedian to go. In 1984, British comedian Cooper was performing on London Weekend Television variety show. In the middle of his act, he suffered a massive heart attack. Everyone in the audience thought it was part of his routine – and laughed uproariously.
Cooper’s act consisted of one-liner jokes and magic tricks that went horribly wrong. My favorite joke: “I’m on a whiskey diet, I lost 3 days already!”
