Ray Romano On Craig Ferguson [STANDUP COMICS TONIGHT]

Damn, it’s a slow day for laughter. Out of all the late night talk shows (Conan, Letterman, Kimmel, Leno), only The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson has a comedian on as a guest. Is this a sad sign of a less-funny future on the horizon? Has stand-up comedy been replaced by making each other laugh? Let’s hope not. Just remember that tomorrow’s another day…tomorrow’s another day…

Ray Romano on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson (CBS |12:35 AM EST)

I always wrote off Ray Romano as being bland and middle-of-the-road. Then I saw him on the Showtime comedy series The Green Room, and developed a new respect for the man. He has this great joke where before being famous he was  paranoid that cab drivers hated him; now that he’s famous he’s paranoid that limo drivers hate him. Does that feeling ever go away? Catch him on Ferguson tonight. And if you’ve never seen him do stand up, check out the clip right here. Some of the jokes from his stand-up set ended up as scripts for Everybody Loves Raymond:
