TV This Week: Syfy and USA Premieres Galore

USA and Syfy are rolling out plenty of new shows this week. While USA and Syfy dominate this week’s schedule, there are still plenty of other goodies, too. So check out what this week has to offer!

Drugs Inc. – National Geographic Channel – Monday, July 12, 10 p.m. (ET)

This hour is about marijuana. If you tune in earlier, you can also catch meth and heroine. Learn how it’s produced and used. Just don’t tell your sponsor.

White Collar – USA – Tuesday, July 13, 9 p.m. (ET)

Season 2 premiere. The boys go after a fancy robber. And he’s good at his job. Bernie Madoff: take notes.

Covert Affairs – USA – Tuesday, July 13, 10 p.m. (ET)

Series premiere. This series follows a new CIA agent. How timely, given the recent popularity of young female spies.

The Hills – MTV – Tuesday, July 13, 10 p.m. (ET)

Series finale. We’re all torn up inside. Now where will we get our fix of spray tans and intellectualism?

The City – MTV – Tuesday, July 13, 10:30 p.m. (ET)

Season 2 finale. While The Hills is ending, at least we can take solace in The City. We still have Whitney.

Psych – USA – Wednesday, July 14, 10 p.m. (ET)

Season 5 premiere. Featuring a Chinese crime syndicate. I guess the show is finally getting “syndicated,” just not in the way fans have hoped.

Mary Knows Best – Syfy – Thursday, July 15, 9 p.m. (ET)

Series premiere. This reality series follows psychic Mary Occhino and her family. She talks to dead people (presumably not just Jim Beam and Jack Daniels).

Fact or Faked: Paranormal Files – Syfy – Thursday, July 15, 10 p.m. (ET)

Series premiere. A former FBI agent and his team investigate paranormal web videos. That’s good, because there are lots and lots that we need answers on.

Whale Wars – Animal Planet – Friday, July 16, 9 p.m. (ET)

The Ady Gil takes a hit. You may have heard about this incident in the news.

Goblin – Syfy – Saturday, July 17, 9 p.m. (ET)

Catch the premiere of this Syfy original movie. A Goblin comes out on Halloween and tries to take a kid. Because there is no better time for a Halloween movie than mid-summer.

Strange Sex – TLC – Sunday, July 18, 10 p.m. (ET)

Series premiere. This episode features an older woman with a much younger man. Think less “MILF” and more “GILF.”

What Your Girlfriend’s Watching

Rizzoli and Isles – TNT – Monday, July 12, 10 p.m. (ET)

Series premiere. Two women fight crime: one as a detective, one as a medical examiner. The first episode features a copycat killing. Yay for girl power.

DC Cupcakes – TLC – Friday, July 16, 10 p.m. (ET)

Series premiere. Sisters open a cupcake shop in this reality show. Yay for cupcakes.
