Five Must Have Video Games for June 2010

Ah, June! The birds are chirping, the sun’s shining, and where are you? Firmly parked in your favorite chair in front of the radiant flat screen television, settling in for a nice session with the latest action, adventure, or sports title. With another onslaught of new releases including Tiger Woods Golf 2011, Green Day Rockband, Sniper, and others, it’s going to be another busy month for PS3, XBox 360, and Wii fans.

Sniper: Ghost Warrior – An exclusive release for XBox 360, this first person shooter transports you to the devastated country of Isla Trueno in the midst of a military coup attempting to overthrow their oppressive government. Loaded with intense sniper missions and full blown assault episodes, this is the next first person game to get your adrenaline pumping.

Alpha Protocol – Slated to be the first blockbuster game of June, Alpha Protocol drops players into the action packed role of special agent Michael Thornton, forced into a solo mission to prevent certain disaster. With an added RPG twist, and tension so thick you can cut it with a knife, players will find themselves hooked from the start of this one.

Naughty Bear – Don’t let the silly title fool you, this is one of the more twisted, entertaining action adventure games available in June. Naughty Bear becomes the Jack Bauer of the forest as he seeks vengeance on his fellow bears who didn’t invite him to the latest birthday bash. Deliciously well rendered graphics, more than 30 levels, and a hoard of weaponry and scare tactics will have you slicing and dicing teddy bears in no time.

Green Day Rockband – The latest installment in the popular Rock Band series is here, this time featuring the three piece pop punk phenomenon, Green Day. A massive catalog of songs, downloadable content, and unlockable features such as rare video and pictures of the band are just some of the features to anticipate.

Tiger Woods Golf 2011 – While his name might be mud in the tabloids, the latest golf release is poised for success on XBox 360, PS3, and Wii. Featuring a massive online co-op mode supporting up to 24 players, this is one thing Tiger should be happy to have his name associated with.
